CINEMA FURY IN BERLIN

This past January we finished creation of the new performance in the CINEMA FURY series called THE IMITATION, commissioned for the 100th Anniversary of the Hebbel Theatre. We spent the last two weeks of January in residency in Berlin to wrap up rehearsals and mount the show in the Hebbel Theatre. The building, built in 1909, has hosted many productions in its history, including plays directed by Fritz Lang, Doglous Sirk, Robert Wilson, Pina Bausch, and Laurie Anderson... but hasn't seen something like we created for its centennial. "a bubbling, glittering, dark Punk Pop performance" - Berliner Zeitung.

CINEMA FURY IN PARIS APRIL 3-5, 2008

We are very happy to announce a new invitation from our Paris home, Maison des Arts Creteil. We have been invited to present CINEMA FURY: THE IMITATION at their annual EXIT Festival. This will be our 4th presentation with them and we are and we are excited for our first appearance in the EXIT festival. The Festival is held over two weekends in Paris and includes cutting edge performance, music, and visual art.

THE PEOPLE IN HALLE

We are currently in Halle, Germany preparing for our new production and German premiere of THE PEOPLE in Halle for the Theater der Welt Festival this coming June. During this one week residency we are holding interviews with the residents in order to develop the video chorus for the production. If you are in Halle and would like to be a part of it please don't hesitate to contact us at the Theater der Welt Offices.

SOS - Enjoy the good times/ Prepare for the bad times
ACTIONS! in NYC

Join us for a select series of work in transformation, as we show fragments and notes from our new production "SOS" every Tuesday at Glasslands Gallery in Brooklyn starting March 4th. Each night we'll be sneaking performance sections from the new piece into an evening of anarchic, exuberant performance happenings, including grotesque video immersion, fresh sound and song, real-time short films, and invited guest artists. Get a sneak peak at our new direction and indulge yourself in some party art, bring friends and have a stimulating group encounter.
